YOUR INFORMATION
Website privacy
Effective October 21, 2026
This policy covers merchantscribe.com and its early-access form. It explains what MerchantScribe collects on this website and how we use it. The installed Shopify app has a separate document-processing workflow; this form does not upload business documents or connect to your Shopify store.
What you provide
When you request early access, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your Shopify store domain. We also record when the request was received. Please do not submit passwords, access tokens, customer records, or business documents through this form.
Why we use it
We use your signup details to contact you about MerchantScribe early access, availability, and launch. Joining the list does not install an app, create a paid account, or authorize access to your Shopify data. We do not sell this signup information.
Storage and service providers
Signup records are encrypted at rest on our hosting infrastructure. We use service providers to host this website and to handle support and launch communications. These providers may process information where they operate. Access to signup records is limited to operating MerchantScribe and responding to your requests.
Basic website operation
This website does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or tracking cookies. Your browser sends ordinary connection information, including an IP address, when it requests a page. The signup service uses a temporary keyed representation of the connection address to limit abuse; it does not write raw IP addresses into signup records. Hosting infrastructure may process technical logs to operate and protect the service.
Keeping and removing your details
We keep signup details while managing early access and launch communications, unless you ask us to remove them earlier. You can ask to access, correct, or delete your signup information, or stop launch emails, by writing to cstorelawton@gmail.com from the email address you used.
